Quantum computing, quantum networking, or quantum sensing
Experimental control of solid-state defect centers in diamond
Entangled photon sources
Cryogenics, instrument control, and opto-mechanical design
Computational modeling (FDTD electromagnetics, nanophotonics, quantum networking)
Precision laser spectroscopy of atomic, ionic, or solid-state quantum systems
